Privacy Policy
This page explains what data motocrossreviews.com collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: very little, and we don’t sell any of it.
What we collect
Analytics. We use standard web analytics to understand which reviews people read and how they find the site. This uses cookies and collects anonymised data such as pages visited, device type, and rough location (country or city level). It never identifies you personally to us.
Emails you send us. If you email us about a correction, a product, or anything else, we keep the email so we can reply and follow up. We don’t add you to any list without asking.
Newsletter. If we run a newsletter and you sign up, your email address is stored with our email provider and used only to send you that newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell or rent your data to anyone. We don’t run user accounts, so we hold no passwords. We don’t collect payment details, we don’t sell anything directly on this site.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy from the retailer, the retailer may set cookies on their site and we may earn a commission. That happens on the retailer’s site under their privacy policy, not ours. See our disclosure for how affiliate links interact with our reviews (they don’t affect scores).
Advertising
Display adverts on this site are served by third-party ad networks, which may use cookies to show relevant ads. You can control ad personalisation through your browser settings and the ad networks’ own opt-out tools.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. For most visitors the honest answer is “nothing identifiable”, but if you’ve emailed us or joined the newsletter, we’ll act on any request promptly. Contact us via the contact page.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll note it here with a date. Last updated: July 2026.
